B2B Vendor Onboarding: Documentation & Information Guide

This page serves as the official reference for companies completing vendor onboarding with FastSpring. It outlines:

  • Documents FastSpring provides during onboarding
  • Information available through our Trust Center
  • Requests we cannot accommodate
  • The correct process for vendor registration and verification

FastSpring’s Role

FastSpring operates as the merchant of record for all transactions.
This means FastSpring is the legal seller of record and:

  • Processes payments
  • Issues invoices
  • Handles tax calculation and remittance

Invoicing Information

  • Invoices are issued by FastSpring (Bright Market, LLC).
  • Invoices are delivered electronically after order placement.
  • Invoices will include all required tax and remittance details.
  • Currency and entity may vary based on buyer location.

What FastSpring Can Provide

The following documents and information are available from FastSpring:

1. FastSpring Vendor Onboarding Fact Sheet

  • The Fact Sheet is a comprehensive document that answers most common vendor onboarding questions.
  • It includes key company information such as:
    • Business Name: Bright Market, LLC (DBA FastSpring)
    • Parent Company: FS Intermediate Holdings, Inc.
    • Ultimate Owner: Accel-KKR
    • Office and Remittance Addresses
    • Contact Information (email, phone, fax)
    • Tax IDs (FEIN, VAT IDs, PAN, etc.)
    • Business size, revenue, number of employees
    • Disadvantaged/Minority business certification details
    • Legal and compliance information (Privacy Policy, Terms of Sale)

2. Tax Forms and Pre-Order Documents Library (Trust Center)

  • To access available documents in the Trust Center, navigate to the Documents section, select the Public tab, and choose View All Documents from the dropdown.
  • This library includes W-9 forms, tax residency certificates, articles of formation, certificates of liability insurance, and other country-specific tax and compliance documents commonly requested.

3. Security and Compliance Reports

  • SOC 3 Type 2 report is also available in the Trust Center.
  • FastSpring is in compliance with PCI standards. 
  • SOC 2 Type 2 and PCI-DSS reports are not shared with buyers and are only available to FastSpring sellers under NDA.

4.  Portal Registration Support

  • FastSpring is registered in major AP portals such as Ariba, Coupa, Paymode-X, and PaymentWorks.
  •  Buyers must initiate the connection by sending an invitation to b2b@fastspring.com (Ariba Network ID: AN01185011494).
    • Once received, FastSpring will complete the onboarding steps within the portal.
  • FastSpring does not log into or complete onboarding within buyer-owned systems or other third-party onboarding tools.
  • Certified corporate information can be provided electronically (email or PDF).

5. Bank Information for wire payment

  • Bank and wire transfer details are provided after an order is created with Wire Transfer selected as the payment method. An invoice will then be generated with the appropriate wire details, which vary based on the order’s country and transaction currency.
  • If a bank letter or wire confirmation is needed, we will be happy to provide documentation that matches the invoice.
  • Requests for verbal bank verification can be reviewed upon request.

What FastSpring Cannot Provide

To help set expectations and avoid delays, FastSpring is unable to provide or complete the following:

1. NDA, Code of Conduct or Unique Buyer Terms

FastSpring does not sign or accept:

  • Separate NDAs
  • Codes of Conduct
  • Custom buyer terms or revisions to buyer agreements

Our Terms of Sale and Privacy Policy include standard confidentiality and conduct provisions and serve as the governing agreements for all transactions.

2. Software Pricing, Licensing or Product-Specific Information

As a reseller and merchant of record, FastSpring does not provide the following:

  • Software licensing agreements (EULAs)
  • Product-specific technical details
  • Pricing quotes, custom pricing, or discount approvals

For all product-specific terms, licensing, or pricing requests, please contact the software vendor directly.

3. Interaction with Non-FastSpring Infrastructure (Portals)

FastSpring agents do not:

  • Log in to, register for, or complete onboarding within buyer-owned portals or third-party systems

4. Detailed Security Information

To protect our customers and internal systems:

  • Detailed security documentation beyond published SOC 3 report is not shared
  • Additional internal controls or security artifacts are not provided due to corporate policy

5. References and Restricted Company or Personal Information

FastSpring does not provide:

  • Certificates of incumbency
  • Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) details
  • Personal contact information or private employee details
  • Customer or business references
