After years of working together, Steinberg’s previous payment processor unexpectedly shut down, and the Steinberg team suddenly found themselves in a bind. Using FastSpring’s pre-built web storefront solution together with our extensive and flexible FastSpring API and webhook features, Steinberg was able to connect FastSpring to their existing systems very easily to get the online shop running again in no time.
The implementation team proactively identified a few unique challenges that Steinberg’s store would require and worked with FastSpring’s engineering department to keep the implementation moving.
In just four short weeks, Steinberg’s new online shop was up and running again, a monumental feat for an operation of their size. This spin-up time was even more crucial because it allowed Steinberg to get back online in time for the big product launch they’d been planning (a new version of their flagship software product, Cubase). This was a huge win for the company from a commercial standpoint.
