With FastSpring’s fsBuilds Discord Bot, players can open their own private storefront inside your server with one command. They browse your live catalog, see offers picked for their Discord role, and check out through a secure FastSpring checkout.

Your players are already in Discord. Now your web store can be too. When a player is ready to buy, they type /store and get a branded storefront with product cards, prices, and buy buttons, pulled live from your FastSpring catalog.
Customized offers based on Discord roles
The bot uses Discord’s native roles to show exclusive products and bundles to your VIPs and other player segments. VIP status can come from a Discord role, or from an active FastSpring subscription. Players without VIP status see an “Unlock VIP” upsell, which is a natural place to promote a battle pass or membership.
Verified buyers with Discord account integration
Players connect their Discord account once through Discord OAuth. The bot then uses the FastSpring sessions API to create each checkout on your server, with the product, the verified buyer, and their Discord ID attached. Nothing editable travels in the checkout link, so every purchase is tied to the right player.
Purchase confirmations in Discord DMs
When an order completes, a FastSpring webhook notifies your server, and the bot DMs the player a purchase confirmation. The player still gets FastSpring’s email receipt too.
Announcements without a code change
Community managers can use /announce to post web store promotions to the whole server. They can add a custom banner and product cards chosen from the live catalog. Product names, prices, art, and descriptions all come from FastSpring, so launching a new item or running a season reset doesn’t need a ticket to the dev team.

How the Discord Bot Build Works
The bot follows a simple flow: Discord – Your Backend – FastSpring. The bot never touches payment details and automatically shows your products, hands the player off to a FastSpring checkout, and listens for the result.
- Set up your bot in Discord and connect FastSpring
- Players open their storefront by typing /store in Discord
- On the first purchase, players authorize a one-time Discord connect
- On each purchase, initialize a secure, server-side checkout with Sessions API
- FastSpring confirms, the bot follows up via DM in Discord
