Affiliate Tracking with iDevAffiliate
Adding affiliate tracking software to your website is one of the most effective ways to achieve more sales, more traffic and improved search engine ranking. FastSpring easily integrates with iDevAffiliate to track and manage the activities of your affiliates who are promoting campaigns from within your affiliate network.
Initial Setup

If you have not already done so, sign up for an iDevAffiliate Account by purchasing their product. After installation, log in and go to your iDevAffiliate Admin Center. Click on the Cart Integration icon at the top and then choose Shopping Cart Integration Wizard. From the Cart or Merchant To Integrate drop-down menu, select FastSpring (under 3rd Party Processing subheader), and click Continue to Next Page.
Click View Integration Instructions for FastSpring. iDevAffiliate will then display that FastSpring is now enabled.
While there are two options (a hidden image tag version and a JavaScript version) to track your iDevAffiliate's on the order confirmation page of your FastSpring order pages, iDevAffiliate suggests using the hidden image tag version.
Hidden Image Tag Version
Here is a generic example of iDevAffiliate's code for a tracking pixel that can be used in FastSpring order pages. Note that in the code, you must use https:// instead of https://, for your website URL. Replace www.yourwebsite.com/idevaffiliate with your website URL and the correct path pointing to your installation folder or directory of iDevAffiliate. Note that the profile code is 112, which is FastSpring's profile ID. Also note that the image must be closed, as shown below.

FastSpring Setup
Go to SpringBoard's Store Home » External Tracking. Click Add Tracking Method.
Select Custom Tracking and click Next. Enter in a Name, such as iDevAffiliate, for this custom tracking method that will be used for management purposes. Under </body> (before), click Click to Define Content.
In the </body> (before) content field, enter in the iDevAffiliate code from above, where you replaced your website URL and path of your iDevAffiliate installation. Click Next. Move the external tracking method to Active status.
The commissions will now occur on purchases for digital products.
